New updates, release dates, and a new airplane
Hello SimFlyers!
This week we have several updates we’d like to share with you, and above all, a new video from Roberto that we strongly recommend you watch.
Starting from Tuesday, August 5 at 07:00 ZULU, a new rule for automatic mission cancellation will take effect: the timer will start 60 minutes after landing. At that point, if you haven’t closed the mission using the End Flight button, you’ll receive three reminders: one at around 30 minutes, another at around 40, and one at around 50 minutes. If the mission is still not closed after an hour, it will be automatically cancelled. Roberto clearly explains why this change was necessary.
On the development side, work on the user marketplace is progressing very well. We’ve given a sneak peek at some sections of the completely redesigned asset detail pages and the new fiat wallet area. In the meantime, we’ve improved the airport filters in the SimFly marketplace, allowing you to filter by country and easily distinguish between airports you already own and those available for purchase.
We’ve just passed 100,000 PAX Tokens distributed! This milestone highlights how active and rapidly growing our community is. In the video, Roberto takes a moment to talk about this achievement, sharing some interesting insights on what it means for SimFly.
A new aircraft has also joined the fleet: the Cessna Citation X. This high-performance business jet can reach speeds of up to Mach 0.92 and comfortably carry up to 12 passengers over routes exceeding 3,400 nautical miles. It’s currently available at a 50% discount for a limited time, so don’t miss out!
In the video, in addition to technical insights, Roberto also answers the most upvoted questions from the AMA section. If you want to hear directly from someone who builds SimFly every day, now is the perfect time to watch.
See you soon,
