Airplane Trading Is Live and More News 🚀

Dear SimFlyers,

This week marks a truly important moment for SimFly. We have some major news to share with you, and we are excited to announce that, as promised, on Tuesday, December 9, we reached one of the most anticipated milestones: airplane trading on the User Marketplace is now live. The release went smoothly, the first transactions are already active, and seeing the community freely trading their aircraft has been extremely rewarding for the entire SimFly team.

A new section is also now available, allowing users’ aircraft listed for sale to be displayed directly within the Marketplace Bank, providing greater visibility for aircraft put on sale by the community. This represents an important step forward in the development of the User Marketplace and in enhancing the value of community assets. The next major milestone will be airport trading, one of the most interesting aspects of the entire system given the uniqueness of this type of asset. We will do everything possible to release it by the end of 2025. After that, we will focus on new missions, further implementations, and a strong marketing effort to bring even more enthusiasts into our community.

December 9 did not only mark the launch of airplane trading between users. We also released a new logic for managing the SimBrief connection, significantly improving the previous system. In addition, today we are introducing a very important update to the flight analyzer, specifically related to taxi light and transponder checks, which in certain situations could generate incorrect penalties. All the details of these optimizations are explained in the video.

The Junior Pilot License is also available once again. We make it accessible only during limited periods to maintain balanced progression within the system. It will remain available for purchase until December 22, 2025, and represents a great opportunity to join SimFly in a more accessible way. There is no guarantee of when it will be available again, so now is the right time to take advantage of it and spread the word.

To conclude, a piece of news that will surely excite many aviation enthusiasts: the British Aerospace BAe 146, also known as the Jumbolino, has arrived. This highly versatile British regional aircraft is well known for its STOL capabilities and operational efficiency. As always, it is available with a 50% discount for a limited time.

You can find all the details and many additional insights in this week’s video. We strongly encourage you to watch it, as we go through all the updates in detail and show them in action. In the final part of the video, we will also answer the most upvoted questions from the AMA section.
