Major Updates, Junior License & 50% Discounts 🚀
Hello SimFlyers,
On May 19, we finally released Touch & Win, a very important milestone for SimFly. This has been a huge effort, and we decided to start with a first beta mission event to make sure everything works in the best possible way.
The T&W Wiki and YouTube tutorial videos are also already available, so everyone can get started right away.
As you have seen, the first beta mission event is available until May 24 at 23:59Z. This first mission is intentionally simple and requires only 1 PAX Token to participate. It will help us test the stability, balancing, and general behavior of the system, and apply small adjustments if needed, so we can be ready to introduce more complete and competitive events.
In this week’s video, you will discover more details.
In addition to Touch & Win, over the past few days we completed one of the largest deployments ever made on SimFly, with optimizations, improvements, and changes across many areas of the platform. SimFly is now faster, more stable, and more performant thanks to several general optimizations.
For those using the user marketplace and selling assets through PAX Tokens, a new 20% fee has been introduced for new listings published from May 21 at 14:00Z onward. This fee will be used for the PAX Token burn system, with the goal of improving the sustainability and balance of the SimFly economy over the long term.
This percentage will not necessarily remain fixed: it may be adjusted in the future based on the internal economy and the needs of the platform. In the video, we will explain the reason behind this choice and how the full system works.
We are also completing the final tests for the new Fiat Wallet feature, which will allow users to use their funds directly inside SimFly without necessarily having to withdraw them. This feature should go online as early as next week. We are making good progress, and in the video we will show a short preview, with more details coming next week.
Starting today, the Junior License is also available and will remain open until May 29 at 14:00Z. For anyone who has not yet had the chance to access SimFly, this is the right moment: we do not know when this opportunity will be available again.
Finally, we have activated a series of 50% discounts in the marketplaces: airports in categories 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, and aircraft in categories 5, 6, and 7, will be available at a reduced price until Wednesday, May 27 at 14:00Z.
Additionally, since there is currently only 1 Airbus A320-200 available in the User Marketplace, we have added 20 Airbus A320-200 aircraft to the Bank Marketplace to ensure greater availability for users.
The aircraft is now available for purchase.
In this week’s video, we will go into detail about all these updates and also talk about some upcoming improvements. At the end of the video, we will answer the most voted questions from the AMA section, so make sure to participate and leave your questions.
See you in the skies of SimFly,
