Total PAX Earned,Live Airport Board, PA28 and more…
Dear SimFly Pilots, welcome to a new weekly update!
Highlights
- Total PAX Earned You can now monitor the total earnings from your passengers directly in the logbook. This new feature allows you to view the total PAX earned since your very first day on SimFly.
- Live Airport Board A new interactive section has been added to the airport detail page, enabling you to view real-time airport activities, including arriving flights, departing flights, and parked aircraft.
System Improvements
We have introduced several updates to enhance your experience on SimFly:
- PAX calculation between departure and destination
- Assignment of Experience Points (XP)
- 3x Bonus for airport owners.
As you know, we continuously evaluate and test new updates to ensure a balanced and sustainable system. In this context, we have focused on optimizing the XP progression system, ensuring it remains fair and adaptable for all pilots.
Changes to XP for Long-Haul Flights
We observed that, with the deactivation of the SkySentinel feature, category 6 and 7 aircraft performing long-haul flights (around 15 hours) were earning 1 XP per minute, causing overly rapid level progression. To address this issue, we implemented a new XP calculation logic:
- 1 XP for every minute of flight (from takeoff to landing).
- For flights exceeding 3 hours, the XP awarded decreases progressively, up to a maximum of 390 XP for flights longer than 10 hours.
This change is currently in the testing phase. We invite you to provide respectful and constructive feedback. We are always ready to hear your opinions and work together to make SimFly a balanced and enjoyable environment for everyone. Additionally, in the future, we will communicate any significant changes or new logic through our official channels before deployment, ensuring at least 3 days’ notice to adequately inform users and provide detailed explanations about the reasons behind the changes.
Community Updates
