(read more)Is the landing system going to be reviewed?
In X-Plane it is given an 81, and it is about time to have it operational, right?
In FS and I imagine that when it is activated in X-Plane, the scoring system is not realistic at all.
A perfect landing is considered when you land at 0ft/m, and at 0ft/m it is impossible to land physically.
It should have a margin depending on the plane. For example 0-100, 100-200, 200-300 ..etc...
Likewise, the landing score weighs down the PAX a lot.
It cannot be that you make a perfect flight of 100/100 of 2h and for landing badly you lose almost half of the PAX.
Today it is almost better to fly in X-Plane, because you know that a bad landing will not penalize you, something that should not be the case.
Is this planned to be improved sooner rather than later?
Thank you very much.

(read more)Since I am convinced that it was better to fly with the Sentinel settings, especially regarding aircraft earnings, I wonder if it would be possible to give everyone the freedom to choose. For example, a button could be added to the client or the mission to enable or disable Sentinel mode. This way, those who prefer can continue flying as before, while those who don’t want it can turn it off, activate autopilot, and rest, accepting the trade-off of earning less. That way, everyone would be satisfied.

(read more)Can you go into more depth about virtual airlines? Will Simfly support creating our own inside the system? Will it allow us to post flight missions? Will we be able to post flights to everybody? For example, if some of my planes were rented by others and moved to different airports, can I setup a mission to have other people fly them back? Would I be able to set a payment? Would the person flying it get their payout according to the renter breakdown for flying my plane, and could I add part of my earnings as a bonus payment? I would definitely prefer to go that route versus just paying simfly to move it, as there would be some income generated for me and the pilot, and my plane and airport would get xp.

(read more)Who agrees with me?
"With all the respect, I desire to express my disappointment regarding the idea of eliminating the Sentinel. I understand the motivations at the base of this change, but I believe that the new rules will bring many difficulties, especially for those who use the airplanes intensively.
Now I wonder: what will be the value of paying to increase the rank of the licenses? Will I have to carry out 2-hour flights and then leave the airplane still for 36 hours? This system seems to me counterproductive, especially for those who, like me, aim to grow and fully exploit the Senior Captain license. With this license I could make 4.5-hour flights, maybe with a purchased airplane, but I would earn less because they are long flights. Moreover, to earn the same amount, I would have to multiply the flights of one or two hours, but the airplane, after the first flight, would be unusable for 36 hours. Under these conditions, the airplanes no longer yield, and their level growth becomes almost impossible.
Considering the high cost of the airplanes and the fact that they will be able to be used so little, I wonder: when ever will we manage to recover our investments? This new structure seems to discourage precisely those who invest more and try to contribute seriously to the growth of the platform.
I believe that those who have complained about the Sentinel probably do not have the intention or the possibility to make a career on SimFly and, for this reason, will be less active. But ironically, having to do shorter flights, the required commitment will increase, making this solution less efficient for everyone. Helping those who complain is understandable, but doing it at the expense of those who are seriously committed on the platform is not a sustainable choice. By doing so, you risk losing the contribution of those who dedicate themselves actively and with passion, namely those who really make SimFly grow.
I have serious projects on SimFly and I desire it to become part of my future work. I had planned everything in detail to grow solidly and sustainably, but this modification messes up my plans and the strategy that I had set. The earning of the airplanes will be decimated if a valid alternative will not be found, and I believe that leaving the Sentinel as it was before would be the best solution.
Despite this outburst, I want to underline how much I appreciate SimFly and your work. You are a fantastic team and I am sure that you will know how to find a balanced and fair solution for everyone. Thanks for listening and good work."

How severe is the decrease? In the video, it sounded like the first 2 hours earned pretty well, then the drop off started. Is that accurate? If the goal is to make sure people who are present are earning more, is it possible to detect autopilot usage and to give a two tier earnings system for people who are using autopilot and those who are hand flying?

Sorry for insisting, but I think the following idea might work:
"The best way, in my opinion, would be to allow each type of license to have a set flight time based on their level: for example, 1 hour for Cadets and 4.5 hours for Senior Captains, as was originally the case . The sentry may remain in the game, with a question appearing every 30 minutes. However, if you don't answer it, your flight would not be cancelled, but you would receive a penalty for each unanswered question."
It could be an effective solution for those who want to use the autopilot without being disturbed, bringing everything back to how Simfly worked before.

This system ensures a fair market-driven price for the assets, as prices are determined by supply and demand among users. Additionally, utilizing the User Marketplace and Blockchain adds a layer of security and transparency to each transaction. While selling directly to the SimFly Bank might seem convenient, the current model is designed to encourage user interaction and a dynamic trading environment.

In response to your question, in the future, there will likely be an option to open a dispute for a canceled mission so it can be reviewed with appropriate verifications. We are also recording flights with mission cancellations due to anomalies, so it may be possible to validate a canceled mission in the future. When such errors occur, pilots should report the issue with proof of their flight details, as you did. SimFly will review these reports and take necessary actions to ensure that valid flights are recognized. We are continuously working on refining the system to minimize these errors and to provide a seamless experience for our users.

They want to ensure that early supporters can resell licenses at a profit while maintaining steady demand. As the community grows, more licenses may be introduced to prevent excessive price increases. The goal is to maintain a balance where demand slightly exceeds supply, allowing for a healthy marketplace for both new and experienced users.

(read more)Currently, it is not possible to delegate management of assets like airports or airplanes to other players. In the future, SimFly plans to introduce features allowing multiple owners to manage large assets collectively, with decisions made by majority vote. For now, renting an airplane comes with risks, such as poor landings requiring more maintenance or the plane being left in less trafficked airports. Similarly, only the owner can upgrade or maintain an airport. Insurance options for these risks may be introduced later.

(read more)A person can begin flying in SimFly without any assets, such as a license or airplane. Initially, players can participate in the Test Pilot Mission, which allows them to accumulate experience points (XP) without requiring a license. These experience points will be stored in their account and will contribute to the upgrade of their first license once purchased. Although flying without a license won't earn PAX tokens, the experience points gained will make the license more valuable when acquired, leading to higher earnings in the future. While you don't need to own an airplane or an airport to start earning, owning these assets provides additional income channels. SimFly will also provide free-to-use airplanes at major airports, so players without an airplane can still participate in missions and earn PAX.

(read more)An airport gains experience points and levels up based on the number of takeoffs and landings that occur there. While it's true that you can't control how many people choose to fly to your airport, SimFly's mission algorithm is designed to encourage flights to user-owned airports, which helps in leveling them up.
Even if your airport isn’t popular initially, it can still gain experience points and level up through missions that require flights to and from user-owned airports. Additionally, higher-level airports generate more PAX, so it's essential to focus on gradually leveling up your airport, even if it's small.
Ultimately, the more your airport is used, the more valuable it becomes, and even smaller, well-leveled airports can be highly profitable.

If you own the departure airport, airplane license, or arrival airport, you receive earnings from these assets. If not, these go to the respective owners.
The suggestion to have a more detailed report that breaks down PACs and experience points for each asset involved in the flight is noted. This would show, for example, how much the departure airport earned and the corresponding experience points generated. This enhancement could provide clearer insights into the benefits of owning specific assets within SimFly.

(read more)The 84-hour timer complements the 24-hour timer by giving players more flexibility. With just a 24-hour timer, players would be limited to flying for a short time each day, making it harder for those who only have weekends to play. The 84-hour timer allows people to spread their available flying time over several days. For example, someone who can only fly on the weekends could use all their available time during Saturday and Sunday, maximizing their flying hours. The two-timer system ensures that players who have different schedules can compete fairly, whether they fly every day or just a few days a week. It also helps players who own multiple licenses by allowing longer flights, which are often more rewarding than shorter ones. In short, the 84-hour timer makes the system more flexible and balanced, benefiting both casual and regular players.

(read more)In real-life long-haul flights, there are always two or three pilots, ensuring that there is always at least one pilot monitoring the flight. Unfortunately, this cannot be replicated in a flight simulator where there is only one pilot. The purpose of the Sky Sentinel is not to prevent the pilot from engaging in other activities during the flight but to ensure that during long-haul flights, the pilot does not sleep or leave the controls for extended periods. The Sky Sentinel verifies the pilot's presence throughout the flight. Additionally, with SimFly, pilots are rewarded through PAX, which encourages them to remain at the controls. Of course, during the development process, we will always strive to calibrate the parameters to make them as non-intrusive and "user-friendly" as possible for pilots.

Instead, they are a prerequisite to demonstrate the player's readiness for the upgrade. Once enough experience points are accumulated, the upgrade button is activated, and the player can pay the PAX fee to complete the upgrade. This applies to all assets, including airports and airplanes. Detailed information on this system can be found on the SimFly Wikipedia page.

(read more)The PAX token is not a stable coin and its value is tied to the circular economy within SimFly. The token is eliminated each time it is used to purchase assets within SimFly, ensuring a controlled supply. The value is pegged to $1 per PAX token for in-game purchases, making it impractical to sell for significantly more or less. The primary risk of failure comes from the potential abandonment of the platform by the community. Without active users, the economy would collapse, leading to the end of SimFly and the PAX token. The ongoing maintenance and development of SimFly are supported by community pre-purchases and transaction fees, which help sustain the platform.

The cumulative score from all activities determines the overall success of the mission. Additionally, SimFly is not involved in any cryptocurrency mining activities, so there's no connection to this in our system. (read more)Your concern about the long-term financial sustainability of SimFly is a valid concern, and I appreciate you bringing it up. The financial viability of our platform hinges on maintaining a balanced economy within SimFly. If we were to flood the system with too many PAX, it would devalue the tokens, making the game less challenging and engaging, which could lead to user abandonment. Conversely, if we are too restrictive, users might get frustrated and leave due to a lack of opportunities to use their PAX. SimFly’s revenue model is multifaceted. Yes, there will be certain aspects that require USD payments, such as a subscription to a Pro account that offers special boosts and features. However, maintaining a healthy balance between giving users enough PAX to remain engaged and active while ensuring that these PAX are also consumed through various in-game purchases and upgrades is crucial. For instance, PAX are burned whenever they are used for transactions like purchasing or upgrading licenses, maintaining airports, or participating in specific missions. This burning process reduces the overall supply of PAX, creating scarcity, which helps maintain their value within the ecosystem. Our goal is to ensure that SimFly remains sustainable by covering essential costs like server maintenance, development, and marketing, while also keeping the community active and engaged. In summary, the platform is designed to be self-sustaining through a careful balance of PAX distribution and consumption, along with strategic USD-based revenue streams. This approach ensures that SimFly can continue to thrive and grow, providing long-term value to its users.

(read more)Thank you for raising this issue regarding penalties for landing lights being on above 10,000 feet. You are correct that there are no aviation rules being broken by having the landing lights on above this altitude, and this is surely a valid point. SimFly’s penalty system is designed to ensure that flight quality is accurately assessed and rewarded. However, we recognize that there needs to be a balance between enforcing rules and allowing for reasonable margins of error. In cases where the lights are left on slightly longer than required, it might be more appropriate to simply note this in the flight report rather than imposing a penalty. At the same time, if the reward is given for the quality of a pilot behavior, there should be a penalty associated with things even if they are not related to aviation rules (take, for example the landing rate). The current system is automated, which means that penalties are applied as soon as the threshold is crossed, leaving little flexibility to a pilot to act out of the set margins. We are actively working on refining these rules to introduce more tolerance and flexibility, allowing pilots time to react without immediate penalties. As SimFly evolves, we will continue to adjust these rules based on user feedback and the growing complexity of our simulation environment. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will take it into account as we update our penalty system. The goal is to create a fair and realistic simulation experience that reflects both the needs of the community and the technical aspects of aviation.

These tutorials will be available in multiple languages to ensure accessibility for all users. We are also translating existing tutorials into English and will expand our offerings as we approach 2025. It’s important to note that while experience points are primarily awarded based on the duration of your flights, the PAX you earn are influenced by how well you execute your flights. The SimFly Academy will help pilots maximize their performance, ensuring they can earn the highest possible rewards. (read more)Yes, with your current setup of a license, plane, and two airports, you can maximize your PAX earnings by flying between your two airports. This strategy is completely legitimate in SimFly, and not considered cheating. By repeatedly flying between your airports, you'll not only earn PAX but also accumulate experience points for your assets, which allows you to upgrade them.
Here’s how you can further increase your earnings:
- Asset Upgrades: As you gain experience points, use PAX tokens to upgrade your airports, plane, and license. Upgraded assets earn more PAX.
- Passive Income: If you own multiple planes, you can rent them out to other users and earn passive income.
- Event Hosting: Organize events at your airports, such as vintage airplane shows, to attract more pilots, increasing your PAX earnings.
- Longer Flights: The farther the flight to your airport, the more PAX you earn. Encourage pilots to fly longer distances to maximize income.
Finally, SimFly missions will often prioritize airports owned by users, which increases traffic to your airports, thus further boosting your earnings.

(read more)While some users may earn more PAX by flying often and purchasing assets early, SimFly is designed to prevent monopolization. Even if someone buys multiple assets, those assets must be actively used to generate PAX and maintain value. If an asset, like an airplane or airport, isn’t used, it won't gain experience points and could become costly due to maintenance.
For example, owning many airports isn’t beneficial if no one flies to them. This system naturally balances the game, as maintaining a large number of underutilized assets is not sustainable. In essence, users are incentivized to grow their assets gradually and actively, rather than hoarding them. Early investors might have an advantage, but only if they manage their assets wisely.

The only scenario where an airport might face recurring maintenance costs without sufficient income is if there are absolutely no landings. Even a few landings can cover the basic maintenance costs, which vary depending on the airport's category and level. Any movement at the airport—whether landings or takeoffs—generates income, ensuring that income is always positive, though it may vary. Airports essentially only generate income, so with even minimal activity, costs are covered.

However, if there are policy changes, users will need to accept the updated terms upon their next login. Occasionally, to manage spam accounts, we may send emails asking users to confirm their accounts within six months. Accounts linked to assets will always remain active, as these are considered genuine and cannot be deleted. Only empty accounts with no activity or assets might be removed, but this is rare and usually only in cases of managing fake accounts.

The question is as follows: For several months now, the 'Test Pilot' mission has been ongoing, where valuable data has been collected for the creation and improvement of algorithms useful for the SimFly engine. Are there any data indicating the usage of airports and aircraft? It might be useful to obtain a ranking of the most frequently used airports or aircraft, as this could assist in investment decisions.

For instance, if you’re flying a Cessna from England to Southern Italy, you can land at various airports along the way, end each mission upon landing, and start a new mission for the next leg. This approach not only simulates multi-stop flights but also maximizes earnings. In contrast, SimFly’s "A Pilot Day" mission type is pre-planned by our system, requiring specific stops, though these are set by the SimFly Brain and not user-driven.

(read more)Currently, SimFly has a system in place where flights are saved for a few minutes even after a crash or disconnection, allowing users to restart their system and rejoin the flight. This grace period has been extended to account for minor connectivity issues that previously caused missions to be canceled. However, the time is intentionally kept short to prevent potential exploitation, such as avoiding consequences when critical events occur (e.g., Sky Sentinel encounters).
Expanding this feature is challenging, as a longer recovery window could be misused to manipulate outcomes. For now, the best advice is to act swiftly if your system crashes. SimFly aims to refine this mechanism further as the platform evolves, especially considering future updates planned for 2050, where real-time interactions with other players and aircraft visibility will be crucial.

Automated tracking of take-offs and landings was considered but posed challenges for complex missions that require multiple stops. (read more)PAX tokens in SimFly are earned based on the performance and usage of various assets owned by the user, such as airports, airplanes, and licenses. The calculation of PAX tokens depends on several factors:
1) Asset Type and Level: Each asset, whether an airport, airplane, or license, earns PAX tokens based on its level and grade. New assets start at a base earning rate and increase as they level up.
2) Usage Metrics:
- Licenses: Earnings depend on flight characteristics, such as flight duration, landing quality, and overall performance during the flight.
- Airplanes: Key factors include flight distance, rental status, and how well the airplane is piloted (e.g., landing quality).
- Airports: Earnings are influenced by the number of landings, quality of flights landing there, and the level and category of both the airplane and airport involved.
To maximize PAX earnings, users should focus on improving the levels and grades of their assets and maintaining high standards in flight operations. For more detailed information, refer to the comprehensive wiki available on SimFly's platform.

(read more)Question (decoded): Does enabling crash detection in the simulator cause issues when flying in multiplayer networks?
Answer: Enabling crash detection in SimFly is essential for evaluating landing quality and other flight metrics. However, concerns have been raised about its impact on multiplayer networks or when flying with third-party add-ons.
Clarification: Crash detection in SimFly only registers incidents where an aircraft crashes into the environment (e.g., mountains, ground objects). It does not register collisions with other aircraft in the multiplayer network, whether in SimFly or other flight simulation platforms. This prevents accidental mission cancellations due to network-related incidents, ensuring a smooth experience while still maintaining the integrity of flight evaluations.
Users can safely enable crash detection in their simulator settings without worrying about unintended consequences from multiplayer interactions.

(read more)Yes, this is intentional. The limitation on Pax earnings is designed to ensure a balanced experience. With just one license at the lowest level, earning is slower to encourage strategic planning. You have several options to upgrade faster:
1. Multiple Licenses: If you hold multiple licenses, you can switch between them as each license's time limit is reached. This allows you to accumulate Pax faster from multiple licenses.
2. Marketplace: Once the marketplace is live, you'll be able to buy Pax from other users who have accumulated more than they need. This option allows you to speed up your upgrades without waiting for a long time.
This system creates a healthy balance between those who prefer to take their time and earn Pax through flying and those who want to speed up the process by buying Pax from others. It fosters an economy where supply and demand for Pax balance out, giving users flexibility based on their goals.

(read more)This is a feature we’ve definitely considered, but it poses significant challenges. The PAX token is a commodity that can be monetized and converted into US dollars, which means enabling user-to-user transfers could potentially open SimFly up to misuse, such as money laundering. Due to these risks and the legal responsibilities we have, we can’t enable this feature. (read more)Thanks for your suggestions, Haider. Regarding your first request for a sound alert, we’ve deliberately chosen not to implement this. We want players to remain fully engaged in their flights, as earning PAX tokens is a reward for active participation. It’s important to maintain a balance where users work for the rewards they receive. If the flight isn’t your main focus, it might be better to schedule shorter flights or have someone else manage the flight remotely if you're occupied with other tasks.
As for your second suggestion, a timer for Sky Essentials or Sky Sentinel quests, the current system already provides enough information. You can note the time when the quest pop-up appears and calculate how much time you have left based on that. Adding a timer seems straightforward, but in reality, it’s complicated due to the involvement of multiple servers and potential synchronization issues. To avoid confusion or discrepancies, we prefer to keep it simple without introducing an explicit timer.

For example, if you've acquired an Airbus A320-200 in SimFly, you'll need to select the same aircraft model in your flight simulator. This way, we can verify that it matches and download the necessary data to evaluate your flight.
Additionally, if you're interested in using a SimFly livery, you can search for it online or look for links we may provide. You’ll be able to customize your aircraft with the SimFly branding to enhance your experience.

We haven't done it yet because we've been focused on building other features, but it's definitely on our roadmap. As we see more SimFly aircraft in the skies, we will feel more confident about phasing out demo airplanes and adding aircraft from other networks. Thanks for the suggestion—it's exactly where we plan to go!

The purpose of these limited editions is to offer something special and rare for early supporters. For example, last year’s Halloween edition airplane provided unique benefits in special events, where using the limited edition plane resulted in more PAX points and experience. While past editions won’t return, we have many new limited editions and special items planned for the future, so don’t miss the opportunity to get them when they’re available!

For aircraft earnings, only the route covered impacts calculations, allowing flexibility for flights with detours or scenic loops. For airports, however, the distance a plane travels before landing directly affects earnings. For example, an airport will earn more when an aircraft lands after a long journey from a distant departure point compared to a local return flight.

(read more)No, experience points (XP) and PAX earnings work a bit differently in SimFly. While XP accumulates based on your assets, like licenses, airplanes, and airports, PAX earnings focus on flight quality. For example, XP is earned over time through the use of these assets, often regulated by timers. Higher-grade assets mean longer timers, allowing you to earn more XP overall.
On the other hand, PAX reflects the quality of your flights. The better you fly, the more PAX you’ll earn, which can be used within SimFly to purchase or upgrade assets. So, while XP levels up your assets, PAX offers spending power. Your progress in both areas enhances the value of your assets for future upgrades or resale!

(read more)Yes, the airplanes and airports will continue to generate PAX tokens and XP independently, even if your license timer is at zero. Each asset (airplane, airport, etc.) operates individually and is unaffected by the status of your license. For instance, if you rent an airplane or land at another user’s airport, their earnings remain unaffected by your license timer. However, earnings can vary based on flight distance, airport traffic, and other specific conditions. Each asset has its own earnings parameters: airports depend on the turnaround rate of flights, while airplanes have maintenance requirements. So, even if you’re not earning through the license, the assets themselves can still generate income independently.

(read more)Yes, you can collect PAX tokens by completing test pilot missions on SimFly. Test pilot missions are accessible to users who do not have an activated license or do not have a license at all. These missions allow you to earn a small amount of PAX tokens without any initial investment.
By creating an account and participating in test pilot missions, you can start earning PAX tokens immediately. We've observed that some users without activated licenses are actively flying numerous test pilot missions and accumulating a significant number of PAX tokens. If you consistently complete many of these missions, you might even earn enough PAX tokens to purchase your own license.
When purchasing a license on SimFly, you have the option to use a combination of PAX tokens and dollars at checkout. This means you can reduce the amount of money you need to spend by applying the PAX tokens you've earned from test pilot missions.
In summary, test pilot missions are a great way to try out SimFly, start earning PAX tokens, and potentially obtain a license at a reduced cost.

The activation of the fiat wallet is dependent on the launch of the user marketplace. Since the fiat wallet's primary function is to facilitate financial transactions within the marketplace, it makes sense to introduce it alongside or after the marketplace is operational. Implementing the fiat wallet also requires us to address important security and regulatory considerations, including robust Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to verify users' identities.
While we understand the desire to have all features operational as soon as possible, developing and securing the fiat wallet is a complex task that takes time. Rest assured, it is a priority on our roadmap, and we are committed to delivering it as soon as it's ready.

(read more)Thank you for your question. When aircraft become available in SimFly, you will have control over when to activate them. Purchasing an aircraft does not automatically activate it; activation is a separate step where you assign specific details to the aircraft, such as the tail number, and integrate it into your fleet.
You can choose to keep aircraft unactivated for as long as you like. This means you can own additional aircraft and decide when to activate them based on your strategic needs. Unactivated aircraft will not consume resources or earn experience points until they are activated.
However, please note that only activated aircraft can participate in missions and earn PAX tokens. Additionally, when the user marketplace becomes active, if you wish to sell an aircraft asset to another user, the aircraft needs to be activated first.
Having multiple activated aircraft can be advantageous. For example, while one aircraft is undergoing maintenance after a mission, you can use another activated aircraft to continue flying missions without delay, thereby maximizing your earning potential.
In summary, you have the flexibility to manage your aircraft assets according to your preferences. Whether you choose to activate them immediately or wait until a later time is entirely up to you.

(read more)In SimFly, pilots without a license can participate in the "Test Pilot" mission, which is specifically designed for unlicensed flyers. However, this mission doesn't allow for the selection or rental of different airplanes; participants are typically assigned a specific aircraft for the mission. Therefore, unlicensed pilots cannot rent your airplane, as the rental feature requires a valid pilot's license and is available only in missions starting with "Airplane Rental."
Regarding your airport, yes, if unlicensed pilots land there during their missions, they do generate PAX tokens for you. Airports in SimFly operate independently of a pilot's license status. Each landing counts towards your airport's activity and earnings, so regardless of who lands, your airport continues to generate income from these visits. This setup ensures that all airport owners benefit from traffic, encouraging a thriving virtual aviation economy.

(read more)We understand your concerns about the 36-hour ground operation times and increased aircraft prices. When introducing new earning mechanics in SimFly, we aim to maintain a balanced in-game economy. Starting with longer ground operation times allows us to observe player interactions and adjust accordingly, rather than starting with shorter times and needing to increase them later, which could lead to frustration. Our goal is to ensure that the game's economy remains stable and sustainable for all players.
The extended ground times also promote the use of the airplane rental system, encouraging players to rent aircraft from others. This not only benefits those who don't own planes but also creates additional revenue streams for aircraft renters and owners, enhancing the overall gameplay experience. We're closely monitoring the impact of these mechanics and plan to make adjustments based on player feedback and data. Regarding upgrade costs and PAX tokens, we're still fine-tuning the numbers to ensure fairness and long-term viability. We appreciate your patience as we work towards creating a balanced and enjoyable environment for everyone.

(read more)Standard liveries from Microsoft Flight Simulator are generally recognized by SimFly. However, recognition issues can occur if livery files have been modified or if their names have changed, as there isn't a unique identifier for each livery. To ensure your liveries are recognized, we recommend downloading SimFly-specific liveries from flightsim.to, a trusted source for flight simulation add-ons. There is a dedicated section for SimFly liveries, guaranteeing compatibility and recognition in the game. We're also planning to provide a page on our website or wiki where all official SimFly liveries will be available for easy access. Please note that downloading a livery for an aircraft does not grant you the ability to fly that aircraft in SimFly: you must own the aircraft within the platform. Using official liveries ensures your aircraft are correctly identified and enhances your overall experience.

While running two simulators simultaneously is technically possible if you have a very powerful computer, the client cannot connect to the both at the same time, thus only one will be selected.

(read more)Hello, thank you for your feedback!
I’d like to clarify a few aspects of the landing scoring system in SimFly. We don’t rely solely on the landing rate (e.g., -177 FPM) as the single parameter, but instead evaluate a variety of factors. These include:
Bounces: If a landing has bounces, the score is significantly reduced.
G-Force: We measure how “hard” the landing was on the aircraft's structure and the passengers.
Wind: The handling of wind during the landing impacts the score.
Aircraft Weight: One of the most important factors. For instance, a light aircraft like a Cessna landing at -200 FPM will receive a lower score compared to an Airbus A380 landing at -400 FPM. This is because the scoring system considers the aircraft's weight and calculates the ideal landing rate based on its mass and other dynamic parameters.
The total score isn’t based on a fixed landing rate value but on a formula that considers the aircraft type and weight, as well as the other factors mentioned above. This approach allows us to reward realistic and well-balanced landings for each type of aircraft.
The landing scoring system in SimFly takes many factors into account beyond just a single number like your vertical speed at touchdown. While a certain landing rate might be considered harsh for a small aircraft like a Cessna, it could be perfectly acceptable for a larger jet. The complexity lies in SimFly’s internal calculations: it looks at the type of aircraft, its weight, weather conditions, cargo load, and other variables before determining how well the landing was performed. Over time, SimFly plans to refine and improve this system so that players get a more realistic and fair score for their landings.
In other words, you shouldn’t be discouraged if you see a landing rate that looks off. The system aims to capture the full picture—everything from how smoothly you touched down to the conditions you were dealing with. If you see players discussing unrealistic scoring in forums or on Discord, remember that SimFly is continuously working to make this measure as accurate and meaningful as possible. Ultimately, the goal is for each user to land “the way it should be done” and be rewarded accordingly.
I understand that the landing rate might seem like the main value at first glance, but the system is designed to be much more complex and realistic. That said, we are always open to improvements, and the feedback we’re gathering on Discord is invaluable for further optimizing the user experience.
Thank you again for sharing your opinion!

(read more)PAX tokens are governed by two timers: a 24-hour timer and an 84-hour timer. Both timers must have remaining time for PAX tokens to be issued. If either timer reaches zero, PAX earnings stop, though experience points may still be awarded at a reduced rate. For example, if you had 90 minutes on the 24-hour timer but zero minutes on the 84-hour timer, no PAX would be issued for your flight. This system ensures balanced token distribution across flights. Your feedback about clearer pre-flight warnings is noted, and we're working to make this information more visible in the client.

(read more)Can you reveal numbers behind following topics (it is quite imporatant to understand and make concious decisions based on rules that are not disclosed:
- what is the price of aircraft leveling in PAX per every level
- what is the price of leveling License beyond LVL 3
- when Airports are introduced to also immediately learn what are initial rules for those (leveling / fancy cooldowns etc.)
- why airplanes need maintenance of 1,5 days after every flight (realism says hello again) - Monthly Subscription is IMO weak mitigation plan
All above is kind of good to know before making any decisions with/about assets. Have a nice day.

(read more)Information such as how many PAX are required to upgrade certain assets or how much a player earns from a particular flight is not fixed. These values adjust dynamically based on the health and stability of the in-game economy. If PAX suddenly become too plentiful, costs may rise or earnings may drop to maintain a stable balance. On the other hand, if PAX are too scarce, SimFly’s algorithms may ease conditions to ensure that it remains a sustainable and engaging ecosystem.
This dynamic approach keeps the game balanced, ensuring that long-term play remains interesting and fair. Instead of static prices and payouts that never change, SimFly adapts to player activity and market conditions. Ultimately, this flexibility allows for a rich and evolving economy, where new and veteran players alike can find rewarding opportunities over time.

(read more)Some players have noticed discrepancies between the landing rate reported by external tools (like the Landing Rate Monitor, LRM) and the one reported by SimFly’s internal system. This can happen because SimFly relies on data directly from the flight simulator itself, which factors in the simulator’s physics, aircraft model, and other real-time conditions. External tools may calculate landing rates differently or use a simpler method that doesn’t fully capture these variables.
For now, SimFly trusts the simulator’s built-in data as its baseline, since it matches the calculations of several major reference systems. If you’re seeing a big difference between LRM and SimFly’s landing values, it’s worth checking which value the flight simulator itself reports. Over time, the development team might refine how landing rates are interpreted, but using the simulator’s own data ensures consistency and alignment with the platform’s intended realism.

(less) - Why SimFly is planning selling PAX for real money ? It contradicts the idea of healthy economy based on gamification aspect of the mod (even its tad difficult to generate income for a regular pilot now). Economy in this system will be ruined if you can just go and buy tokens.

(read more)There seems to be confusion about whether SimFly will sell PAX directly to players for real-world currency. To clarify: SimFly does not—and does not plan to—sell PAX for cash. PAX are a form of in-game currency earned through natural gameplay activities, such as completing flights or owning and operating airports and aircraft. They can also be obtained through special events or missions, but you won’t be able to buy them directly from SimFly with money.
However, if players who have accumulated a surplus of PAX wish to trade them with others, they can do so through the in-game marketplace. This allows players to exchange PAX, licenses, and other assets to shape their own economy. Some might sell PAX for a profit, others might buy them to quickly grow their operations. The core idea is to maintain a healthy player-driven economy without the developer directly injecting PAX into the market in exchange for real money.

(read more)Withdrawals from SimFly are subject to different rules based on the amount being withdrawn. The minimum withdrawal is $100, with higher tiers for $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000 or more. For these higher amounts, users will need to complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) process, which involves verifying your email, phone number, identity documents, and proof of residence (e.g., utility bill or bank statement).
SimFly does not proactively report your earnings to tax authorities like the IRS. However, if legally requested, we must disclose user KYC information to authorities. It is your responsibility to check the tax laws in your country to determine if you need to declare these earnings. For small amounts, taxes may not apply due to high administrative costs relative to the earnings. Withdrawals in US dollars will only be available starting in 2025 after the completion of the user marketplace and further legal research. Monthly withdrawal limits may apply to avoid triggering additional government requirements.

(read more)Yes, we can implement a feature to highlight licenses with active timers. Currently, the web application highlights planes that are ready for use or grounded for maintenance, making it easy to identify those that can generate income. Licenses, however, are still usable even if their timer for producing PAX tokens has expired.
We plan to add a feature to highlight licenses with active timers to simplify the process, so you don’t need to check each license individually. This suggestion will improve usability, and we appreciate your feedback, Gianni. The feature will be developed soon.

(less) - If two Milestone Events are running concurrently (for example the Abu Dhabi F1 and the double rewards X2 events were both active on Dec 8, 2024), how can we select which event we get credit for?

(read more)Event selection happens automatically based on your flight behavior and event requirements. Previously, the system prioritized one event (e.g., Double Reward X2) over others, causing issues. Now, if two events are active, the system will prioritize the one with specific departure or arrival requirements.
For example:
Event 1 requires a flight from or to any airport in England.
Event 2 requires a flight from or to LFPG or LFPO.
If you fly from EGLL to LFPG, Event 1 is credited. If you fly from LFPG to EGLL, Event 2 is credited. If you fly from LIMC to EGLL, Event 1 applies.
This logic ensures clear and automatic event selection. Users only need to follow the departure or arrival requirements of their preferred event to ensure the correct reward. We hope this resolves your query, Kindra.
